Today

I find wonder in today. 

We woke up this morning. We're still here this evening. We have today. We have right now.

I have been frustrated by people making foolish decisions. The injustices going on in the world and in my country make me want to scream and weep. 

But two people who are more vulnerable and more disadvantaged than I am have said to me recently that they give thanks each morning just to be alive for one more day. They live harder days than I do. But still, they are grateful to see another morning.

We have today. We get to decide what to do with the time given to us.
